Change ProfitLens Between Dark Mode and Light Mode
Overview
ProfitLens does not currently have a built-in dark mode or light mode setting. Instead, it follows the appearance settings of your web browser and, in some cases, your operating system.
If your reports or screens appear in dark mode and you'd prefer light mode (or vice versa), you can change the setting within your browser or device.
Microsoft Edge
- Open Microsoft Edge.
- Click the three dots (...) in the upper-right corner.
- Select Settings.
- Click Appearance.
- Under Overall appearance, choose:
- Light
- Dark
- System default
Refresh ProfitLens after making the change.
Google Chrome
Chrome typically follows your operating system's theme.
Windows
- Open Settings.
- Select Personalization.
- Click Colors.
- Choose either:
- Light
- Dark
Mac
- Open System Settings.
- Select Appearance.
- Choose:
- Light
- Dark
- Auto
Refresh ProfitLens after changing the theme.
Mozilla Firefox
- Open Firefox.
- Click the menu button (☰).
- Select Settings.
- Navigate to Extensions & Themes.
- Select your preferred theme:
- Light
- Dark
- System Theme
Refresh ProfitLens to apply the change.
Safari (Mac)
Safari follows your Mac's appearance settings.
- Open System Settings.
- Select Appearance.
- Choose Light or Dark.
ProfitLens will update to match the selected system theme.
Troubleshooting
The appearance didn't change.
Try the following:
- Refresh the browser window.
- Close and reopen the browser.
- Clear your browser cache.
- Verify your operating system theme settings.
- Ensure your browser is updated to the latest version.
Some reports still appear dark.
Certain reports, charts, or dashboards may use their own display settings and may not immediately reflect browser theme changes. Refresh the page or reopen the report.
